Samsung Telecommunications America , also known as Samsung (News - Alert) Mobile, reportedly announced collaboration plans with Sybase, a provider of enterprise and mobile software, to deploy, manage and secure Windows Mobile powered smart phones for enterprise customers.
Officials said the collaboration between the two industry-leading companies will result in fast, secure and easy access to business critical applications and bolster the productivity of mobile knowledge workers.
The new endeavor will further support Samsung Mobile’s efforts to deliver high quality, full-featured and enterprise- ready mobility smart phones that bring the power and capabilities of an office computer to a mobile device, officials said.
As part of the collaboration, Sybase (News - Alert) will offer its enterprise device management platforms to allow enterprises to extend information securely, making it useful for people anywhere.
