Is there a way that truckers, drivers and all those on the road can deal with all the noise they have to encounter every day? Well, BT (News - Alert) headset manufacturer VXi Corporation thinks it's possible and has entered into a strategic partnership with Dial2Do, a provider of cloud voice services.

VXi's BlueParrott brand of Bluetooth mobile solutions has set the performance standard for the professional truck driving industry and has advanced noise canceling and noise suppression features that minimizes excessive background noise, according to company officials.

“VXi has a long history of delivering quality headsets to professionals and consumers,” said Ivan MacDonald, CEO of Dial2Do, in a press release.

The collaboration with Dial2Do will enhance the capabilities of VXi's BlueParrott brand by including additional voice features that are expected to enable truckers, drivers and mobile users to use their voice to stay connected, leaving their hands free.

“We are excited to be adding cloud services to our BlueParrot range of headsets,” said Mike Ferguson president and CEO of VXi. “The Dial2Do partnership allows us to provide even more value to our customers, while assisting them to drive safely and adhere to the new NTSB driving rules.”

With voice updates on trip status and deliveries and voice reports on problems and delays being routed immediately by e-mail, the Dial2Do service promises to be a great boon for enterprise and business customers as it is expected to increase the productivity of the mobile workforce and truck drivers, officials said.

The new VXi BlueParrott service will be available to customers in April 2012 when product features and pricing are expected to be announced.
