VXi Corporation, a provider of telecommunications and speech recognition solutions for contact centers, announced the launch of UC ProSet corded headset designed for contact centers and busy offices.
The new headset range, a part of the company’s unified communication B2B line, helps different businesses including home offices or large business settings redefine communication by offering the comfort and style to agents or employees.
The UC ProSet corded headset comes with superior features that enhance its use in enterprises. It delivers wideband audio for natural and crisp sound quality offering clearer conversations. Ensuring sound quality is important to improve customer interactions in call centers and increase productivity in businesses. The noise cancellation technology in the UC ProSet eliminates up to 87 percent of background noise.
To add convenience and comfort, the wired headset comes with a lightweight design. The ergonomic design makes it perfect for all-day wear. The attractive look and unmatched durability deliver the best results in contact centers environments.
"VXi has been delivering value, excellence and innovation with its business headsets for contact centers and offices for more than 20 years," said VXi President and CEO Mike Ferguson, in a statement. "The new UC ProSet further solidifies our company's position as the industry leader, not only in headset technology, but also for style and comfort."
Another important feature of the VXi UC ProSet is that it can work interchangeably with existing amplifiers and cords to maximize existing equipment investments. The Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC) compliant headset can also fit into any UC strategy.
Last but not the least, the new wired headset gives users the option to choose between binaural (two speakers) and monaural (one speaker) models. The product comes with two-year warranty.
In another related announcement from the headset manufacturing industry, Mad Catz Interactive said its new SwitchBlade Wireless Headset is expected to be shipped worldwide in spring 2012. The new Bluetooth headset is designed for use with the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system from Sony and will be released under the company’s TRITTON professional gaming audio brand.
