Logitech (News - Alert) International, a world leader in computing, communication and entertainment platforms, recently announced in a press release that it has optimized its business-class webcams and headsets to work with Microsoft (News - Alert) Office 365 with Microsoft Lync Online, the unified communications (UC) platform for Microsoft Corp. As a result, users are now not required to use any extra equipment to experience seamless audio and video conferencing or peer-to-peer communications with their Logitech webcams and headsets.

The company offers optimized webcams such as Logitech(R) B990 HD Webcam, Logitech(R) B910 HD Webcam, Logitech(R) B905 HD Webcam and Logitech(R) Pro 9000 for Business Webcam. Logitech's optimized headsets include the Logitech(R) B530 USB Headset, Logitech(R) BSP420 USB Speakerphone and the Logitech(R) BH970 Wireless DECT (News - Alert) Headset.

Recently, Logitech’s division, LifeSize, announced an enhancement to its video conferencing offerings through full qualification with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2. The interoperability enables all of the LifeSize (News - Alert) 220 Series endpoints including LifeSize Team 220, LifeSize Room 220 and LifeSize Express 220 and LifeSize Passport to officially qualify within the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 platform.
