Jabra's Technology Continues to Wow Users
By Juliana Kenny, TMCnet Web Editor
TMC’s CEO Rich Tehrani (News - Alert) recently reviewed the Jabra (News - Alert) Freeway Bluetooth Speakerphone, a remarkable piece of technology that rocks the socks off pretty much anyone who comes into contact with it. This reporter got one too, and joins Tehrani in marvel of its outstanding features.
Including HD voice support, speech recognition, virtual surround sound, A2DP music streaming support, voice guidance for Caller-ID, and motion sensing abilities, the device is the most advanced piece of Bluetooth-enabled hardware we’ve witnessed in action recently.
Tehrani wrote, “This diminutive little gadget, a bit larger than a desktop mouse, belted out music like a pro, told me when I had calls and generally impressed me to the point that I brought others in my company to share in the joy of putting the Jabra Freeway through its paces. I immediately paired multiple devices and had them fight to send dueling music streams.”
With 14 hours of talk time, the Freeway conserves battery power by turning off as it senses you leaving the car, should that be the place you choose to use it primarily. In a truly hands-free experience, the Freeway allows users to command it to call contacts after it has been synced, and Tehrani noted that it has other uses as well.
“As a speakerphone in your office, this thing excels and has 14 hours of talk time which is incredible for something which feels as light as a smartphone. In addition, you can throw it into a laptop bag and it will act as a speaker in your hotel room allowing you to enjoy some tunes while your work or play.”
