Intermedia Brings SaaS to Managed Service Providers

Intermedia, a software as a service provider specializing in messaging and collaboration solutions, has launched its Managed Service Providers (MSPs) Partnership program aimed at helping MSPs easily add software as a service (SaaS (News - Alert)) to their offerings.

Intermedia believe that a partnership with the MSP industry is a natural fit that will easily improve revenue and customer retention for its MSP partners.

MSPs stand to benefit greatly from entering the SaaS market, which, according to Gartner (News - Alert), is predicted to double to $12 billion by 2012.

Intermedia under the MSP Partnership Program makes it easy and inexpensive to add a variety of SaaS offerings to their portfolio, including Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange 2007, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Office Communications Server 2007, SharePoint v3, wireless email and data access and more.

Intermedia's MSP Partnership program allows MSPs to offer Intermedia's SaaS solutions either as a co-branded solution or completely under their own brand, using their own company look and feel. Intermedia's partners can choose the partnership model that they prefer and that best leverages their existing relationships with customers.

MSPs can join Intermedia's Partner Program for free - there are no setup fees or monthly minimums that must be met. Partners simply sign up for the service and only pay Intermedia the wholesale rate when their customers sign up for the SaaS offerings at retail rates.

"Managed Service Providers are already ahead of the curve in their service delivery model," said Robert Leibholz, vice president of sales and business development for Intermedia, in a statement. "Intermedia is excited to work closely with this group of innovative companies to help them see higher revenues and retention rates by adding SaaS to their portfolio."

Intermedia is a software as a service provider specializing in messaging and collaboration solutions. More than 25,000 small and medium-sized businesses trust Intermedia to manage their business email and host their Web sites. A Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Intermedia is committed to best-in-class service and ease of management for businesses that depend on MS Exchange and the ecosystem around it.

Intermedia has been offering Microsoft Exchange through the SaaS delivery model since 2000 and has been selling its services through the channel since 2001.
