Simicomm Adds Sangoma Reliability its EasySpeak PBX VoIP Phone System
By Anuradha Shukla TMCnet Contributing Editor
Simicomm (News - Alert) announced that premium open source telephony phone cards from Sangoma are now available for use with EasySpeak PBX
, a phone system for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
The EasySpeak PBX (News - Alert) is ideal for SMBs and resellers looking for hassle free installation. The phone system can be completely installed, including fully automated phone configuration, in only 15 minutes, and works with both VoIP
and analog phones. Leveraging the premium line cards from Sangoma, small businesses can now
avoid replacing their analog phones.
According to Simmicomm, a highly reliable, fully featured phone system can be obtained for a low price by using Sangoma cards with EasySpeak PBX and existing analog phones. The company emphasized that even low-cost Asterisk (News - Alert) solutions are substantially more expensive and do not consider the associated, constant support and maintenance fees.
Dennis Barnum, CEO of Simicomm said everyone knows Sangoma makes the most reliable, scalable cards on the market, but may not be aware that the company also has a group of high level engineers that assist customers through the setup and installation process at no additional charge.
“Add in crash-proof upgrades, unlimited application and hardware compatibility, support for fax and credit card processing and you get the hardware portion of simplicity and reliability that we want to deliver,” said Barnum in a statement.
David Mandelstam (News - Alert), CEO of Sangoma, said Simicomm’s goals of delivering hassle-free solutions is similar to Sangoma’as own strategy.
“There’s far too much complexity in the implementation of VoIP solutions and there doesn’t need to be, companies like Simicomm are proving that,” Mandelstam said in a statement.
