(Worldwide Computer Products News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
Maximizer Software (TSX:MAX), a provider of customer relationship
management (CRM) solutions, announced on Tuesday (13 January) that its
mobile CRM solution is now available for the Google G1 smartphone from
HTC Corporation, a mobile phone designer.
The touch-screen Google G1, which debuted in late Q3 2008 with mobile
communications company T-Mobile, is powered by Google's Android, an
open source mobile device platform and operating system.
According to the company, sales and service professionals who use the
HTC Google G1 can now access Maximizer Mobile CRM through a wireless
web browser to view and update customer, sales and service information
in real-time, directly from the smartphone to the corporate CRM system.
The wireless application enables on-the-go management of customers,
leads, sales opportunities, service cases and document repositories.
In addition to the Google G1 smartphone, Maximizer Mobile CRM is
available for BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, iPhone, Palm and
Symbian-supported smartphones. No pricing details were disclosed.
