WHAT: On Sept. 27, visitors to Six Flags St. Louis will find a new
kind of thrill as Nintendo hosts an interactive competition
to celebrate the launch of Wario Land(TM): Shake It! for the
Wii(TM) console. The Wario Land: Shake It! contest invites
veteran gamers and new players alike to use the Wii
Remote(TM) controller in unique ways, holding it sideways
and shaking it to help surly anti-hero Wario(TM) run, jump
and smash his way through a hectic side-scrolling adventure.
The contest winner will be rewarded with a "Bottomless Coin
Sack" prize package that includes a Wii console, a copy of
Wario Land: Shake It!, a handheld Nintendo DS(TM) system and
a gift certificate redeemable for Six Flags merchandise.
To heighten the excitement, entrants in the Sept. 27 contest
at Six Flags St. Louis will compete against players at Six
Flags Magic Mountain near Los Angeles. One lucky grand prize
winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to New York
where they can visit the Nintendo World store for an awesome
shopping spree. Six Flags St. Louis will also be one of 10
Six Flags amusement parks nationwide to host Wii Experience
game kiosks where visitors of all ages can step right up and
play Wario Land: Shake It!
Wario is the gaming industry's most mischievous and
unpredictable anti-hero, known for greedily grabbing up
coins, munching on garlic and occasionally grossing out
